Field Trip

 NOMADICA

As part of B. Ed curriculum, the 2024-2026 batch students of the college planned to go for a long tour from 14th January  2025 to 18th January 2025.  We were accompanied by Dr Sindhu I P, Assistant Professor of Natural Science and Dr Chanchel Abraham, Assistant Professor of Social Science for the tour. The tourist bus of Chocolate Holidays strated its journey from KUCTE Nedumangad at 3:00 PM on 14 th January 2025.

On 15th January, we reached Chikmangalur.  We headed to the Siri statue, a notable attraction situated at Siri coffee.  Then we stepped into the waters of Honnamenna Devi  Falls.  Mullayanagiri Peak, Seethayalanagiri and Z point were peak attractions. The travel via jeep on off-roads and trekking were novel experience to us. The Campfire at night brought warmth to our hearts and body.

On 16th January, we spent our time at Belur Yagachi Water Adventure Center.  We enjoyed the rides: Banana boat ride, Bumper ride, rafting and kayaking. A visit to the Chennakesava temple, its spiritual atmosphere and architectural beauty added beauty to the day. By evening, we headed to Bangalore.

On 17th January, we visited Nandhi Hills to watch the sunrise at 6:50 AM. The flower show based on the theme " Ramayana by Valmiki" at Lalbagh Botanical Garden and the interactive exhibits and displays at Visvesvaraya Industrial & Technological Museum (VITM) were engaging and informative. Evening time was devoted to purchase at commercial street, Bangalore.

On 18th January , we reached college by 12:00 PM. We had a wonderful time together enjoying every moment of our tour.
