Malinya Muktham Navakeralam Campaign

MALINYA MUKTHAM NAVAKERALAM PROGRAMME 

The NSS Unit: KL-07-153 volunteers of KUCTE Nedumangad, in collaboration with Nedumangad Municipality, actively participated in the Swachh Survekshan 2024 campaign on 3rd January 2025. As part of this initiative, they conducted an awareness program on effective waste disposal for families in the Povathoor panchayat.

Objectives of the Programme:

To promote awareness about waste management among local communities, to encourage responsible waste disposal methods and to  contribute to the Swachh Survekshan 2024 initiative.

The volunteers engaged in multiple awareness activities, including:

1. Visiting local households and educating families on proper waste disposal.

2. Conducting interactive sessions on waste segregation and management.

3. Distributing informational materials on cleanliness and hygiene.

4. Encouraging community participation in keeping the environment cleaning.

The initiative successfully raised awareness about waste management among the local population. The active participation of volunteers and community members ensured that the message of Swachh Survekshan 2024 reached the grassroots level. The campaign motivated families to adopt proper waste disposal habits, contributing to a cleaner and healthier environment. Such initiatives are essential to achieving long-term environmental goals and fostering a cleaner society.
