School Induction Programme

 SCHOOL INDUCTION PROGRAMME AT GOVERNMENT VOCATIONAL HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL, PARUTHIPALLY

As an integral part of 2024-2026 B.Ed curriculum we were privileged with the opportunity to visit a school, aimed at acquiring pre-school teaching experience and augmenting our understanding of the multifaceted function of the school.

I commenced my participation in the school induction programme on 14th October 2024,  It was a five day programme spanning from 14th October-18th October, 2024.  From Kerala University College of Teacher Education, Nedumangad, a total of six students visited GVHSS, Paruthippally.  The team comprises two members from social science optional, two members from Hindi, one each from Natural Science and English optional.

It marked an immersive journey into the world of education fostering skill development, professional insight and reflective teaching practices.  It gave an opportunity to have primary experience with the functioning of the school, to observe lessons of senior teachers individually or in small groups, observe the learning facilities and the general climate of the school.  The student teachers could engage in taking individual classes.
