KERALA PIRAVI CELEBRATION

KUCTE, Mancha B.Ed. College marked the celebration of KeralaPiravi Day on November 1, 2024, under the guidance of the union " Rithva" with a variety of cultural events aimed at honoring the history, culture, and progress of the state. Kerala Piravi, which means “Kerala’s Birth,” is celebrated on November 1st every year to commemorate the formation of the state of Kerala. The state of Kerala was officially formed on November 1, 1956, following the reorganization of states in India based on linguistic lines.

The programme which was started at 10 AM at the college auditorium was inaugurated by the principal of the college, Dr. Renuka Sonny L. R with a speech. The cultural events like classical dance and songs commemorating the traditions and origins of Kerala.  To add colour to it, games were played.  Pal payasam, the traditional delicious pudding was served during the conduct of the programme.
