SUBJECT ASSOCIATION INAUGURATION

The inaugural ceremony of English subject association was conducted on 28th October 2024 at 1:30 PM with the venue : Multipurpose Hall.

The admired principal of the college KUCTE Nedumangad, Dr. Renuka Sonny L R inaugurated the function with her captivating speech. The logo presentation of English subject association was done by her.

          

ACTIVITIES ASSOCIATED WITH SUBJECT ASSOCIATION

1. Global Handwashing Day

Every Year on October 15, Global Handwashing Day highlights the importance of handwashing with soap and water.  Thia habit should start from an early age, so we, the English optional students conducted awareness class on 16th October 2024 in Govt Girls HSS Nedumangadu, Govt VHSS Boys Mancha, Govt V&HSS Paruthipally( where I conducted the awareness class to Eighth grade students ) Kachani Govt HS, Karakulam Govt V&HSS and Govt HS Kanniakulangara.

2. Interschool Quiz Competition

A quiz competition associated with World Students Day was conducted on 17 th October 2024 in Govt Girls HSS Nedumangadu, Govt VHSS Boys Mancha, Govt V&HSS Paruthipally( where I conducted the quiz cotest)Kachani Govt HS, Karakulam Govt V&HSS and Govt HS Kanniakulangara. Abhishek from Kachani Govt HS with a score of 7/15 topped the contest.

3. Bulletin Board Sponsoring

English class leader Greeshma S gifted bulletin board to the principal, Dr. Renuka Sonny L R on be half of all the English students on 29th October 2024.

4. Spot Photography and Caption Writing Competition

On the theme "Aesthetic", a photography competition was conducted on the day of Subject Association inauguration. The guidelines were as follows: Duration of 10 minutes, Team of two, No editing, Shot should be vertical.  Out of a total of nine entries, Geethu Mohan of Natural Science and Pooja S of Natural Science won first and second prize respectively.

              

    

On 12th November 2024, as part of the English Optional's Ground Assembly the gifts were distributed to them.
