HARITHA MISSION PROGRAMME

ONE STEP MORE TO GREENERY

The "Haritha Kalalayam" program was conducted on March 24, 2025, at the B.Ed. College Hall. The event focused on environmental awareness and sustainability, aligning with the objectives of the Haritha Keralam Mission.  

                    
The event was graced by C.S.Sreeja, Municipal chairperson of Nedumangad as the chief guest. Other notable speakers and dignitaries also participated in discussions on environmental sustainability and student involvement in ecological conservation.


Kerala University of Teacher Education College, Nedumangad, has taken a significant step towards environmental sustainability by being certified as a Green Institution under the Haritha Keralam Mission. This recognition highlights the institution’s commitment to fostering a culture of environmental conservation within the academic community and beyond.

A Milestone in Green Practices

The college has been awarded an ‘A’ Grade, acknowledging its exemplary efforts in implementing green protocols in the following key areas:

✅ Waste Management – Efficient disposal and recycling systems.

✅ Water Security – Conservation and sustainable water usage.

✅ Energy Efficiency – Adoption of renewable energy and energy-saving measures.

✅ Biodiversity Conservation – Initiatives to preserve and enhance local ecosystems.
