NSS PROGRAMME
LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL ❤️
The Government of Kerala, through its Higher Education Department and the National Service Scheme, organised an awareness program titled "Life is Beautiful" (ജീവിതം മനോഹരമാണ്). This initiative aims to spread awareness about the harmful effects of substance abuse through 1,000 awareness centers across the state.
On March 17th, state level inauguration for the programme was done by Dr. R. Bindu, Hon'ble Minister for Higher Education and Social Justice at Central Stadium, Thiruvananthapuram (at 2:00 PM).
The primary goal of this event is to create public awareness against substance abuse and promote a healthy, drug-free society. The campaign will emphasize the dangers of drug addiction, the importance of mental well-being, and the role of education in preventing substance abuse.
The initiative is part of the statewide anti-drug campaign involving educational institutions. The program will feature motivational talks and awareness activities led by government officials and experts. It aims to influence youth and communities by fostering a positive and drug-free lifestyle.
The "Life is Beautiful" campaign is a significant step toward ensuring a healthy and drug-free future for Kerala’s youth. The participation of educational institutions, social organizations, and the general public will be crucial in making this initiative a success. The presence of Dr. R. Bindu as the chief speaker further highlights the government's commitment to education and social justice.
This event is expected to leave a lasting impact by encouraging communities to take a stand against drug abuse and support a better future for the next generation.
