Unveiling of Magazine

 UNVEILING OF COLLEGE MAGAZINE 

The College Union of Kerala University College of Teacher Education (KUCTE), Nedumangad, successfully organized the Unveiling of the College Magazine – "DHEEKSHA" for the academic year 2023-24. The event took place on 26 March 2025 at 10:30 AM in the College Auditorium and was graced by the presence of eminent guests, faculty members, and students.

The magazine unveiling was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Dr. B Balachandran, a renowned writer and Secretary of Prakreethayam. The event was led by Dr. Renuka Sonny L R (Principal, KUCTE Nedumangad) as the Chief Editor and Ms. Nithya K P (Assistant Professor of English) as the Staff Editor.

The event commenced with a prayer by Aparna C S, followed by a welcome speech by Dr. Renuka Sonny L R. The presidential address was delivered by Govind S K, the Chairman of the College Union 2023-24.

The official inauguration and magazine release were conducted by Dr. B Balachandran, who highlighted the importance of literature and creativity in academic life.

The Staff Editor, Smt. Nithya K P, introduced the magazine, emphasizing the effort and dedication behind its creation. Several dignitaries extended their felicitations, including:Smt. Bindu S Nair (Staff Advisor), Dr. Reshmi K S (Staff Secretary), Nithin N R (General Secretary, College Union 2023-24), Safwan (Chairman, College Union 2024-25), Smt. Lekshmi Pushkaran (Academic Coordinator)

The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Arshidha N (Magazine Editor, College Union 2023-24), expressing gratitude to all attendees and contributors.

The unveiling of "DHEEKSHA" (2023-24) was a grand success, celebrating the literary and creative spirit of the college. The magazine serves as a reflection of students’ thoughts, ideas, and artistic talents, fostering a culture of learning and expression. The event reinforced the significance of creative pursuits in academia and encouraged students to continue exploring their potential in literature and the arts.

Alongside, the name of the college magazine of 2024-2025 (SARGAM) was unveiled by Dr. B.Balachandran.
