INTERCOLLEGIATE SLOGAN WRITING COMPETITION

Kerala University College of Teacher Education, Nedumangad is organized an Inter-Collegiate Slogan Writing Competition aimed at raising awareness about the dangers of drug abuse among youth. The competition invited students to creatively express the urgent need to combat addiction and promote healthy living.

The theme for the competition was "Break the Chain: Choose Life, Not Drugs" with the tagline "A Call for Youth to Rise Against Addiction." Participants were encouraged to craft slogans that inspire and motivate young people to choose a drug-free life.

The competition was open to students from all B.Ed colleges. Entries could be submitted either in Malayalam or English, and participants were given the freedom  to present their work either handwritten or digitally. Submissions were judged based on creativity, relevance to the theme, and overall impact.

The organizers emphasizes the motto, "Together, let's build a drug-free generation."

The event was coordinated by Dr. Renuka Sonny L R, Principal of KUCTE, Nedumangad, who served as the General Convenor, along with Dr. Sindhu I P, Assistant Professor of Natural Science, who was the Programme Co-ordinator.

The first prize was awarded to Thejas Krishna P V from BNV College of Teacher Education, Thiruvallam. The second prize went to Athira S R from Fathima Memorial Training College, Kollam. The third prize was secured by Vyshnavi T A from Mar Baselios College of Education, Sulthan Bathery.
