Pride of KUCTE: Nikhila’s Triumph at Mann Ki Baat Talent Hunt

A PROUD MOMENT FOR KUCTE NEDUMANGADU 

It was a moment of immense pride for all of us at KUCTE Nedumangadu when Ms. Nikhila S. U., a II Year Social Science student of KUCTE Nedumangad and teacher trainee in our school ( GVHSS Paruthipally), was selected as the Nedumangad Taluk Level Winner of the Mann Ki Baat Talent Hunt Season V. This achievement, organized under the Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt. of India, in collaboration with the Global Givers Foundation, provided her with the rare opportunity to participate in the Independence Day Parade 2025 at Delhi.

On her return, on 22nd August, Nikhila shared her wonderful experiences with the college during the morning assembly. She spoke about how the event gave her the chance to meet several important leaders and central ministers, and how she could visit some of the most iconic places of our country, including the Wagah Border and Qutub Minar. The grandeur of the Independence Day Parade left her deeply inspired.

She also highlighted the bond of friendship and unity she found among the group of participants from across India, making the event not just an exposure to leadership and patriotism but also an enriching cultural exchange.

Her achievement is a reminder that opportunities, when utilized with dedication and talent, can bring recognition and glory to both the individual and the community they belong to.
