 INNOVATIVE WORK FOR THIRD SEMESTER

On 4th October 2025, I presented an AI-generated animated video based on the chapter Little Things Matter by A.P.J. Abdul Kalam from the second unit, Wings of Hope, of the first part of the Kerala Reader English textbook for Standard- VIII.

The AI-based animated video on “Little Things Matter” was created using multiple advanced digital tools and platforms. The content and prompts were developed with the help of ChatGPT, Gemini, and Google vO3, ensuring accurate narration and engaging script flow. Images and visuals were generated through Gemini and ChatGPT, providing creative and realistic illustrations that matched the story. For AI video creation, Google vO3 and Google Flow were used to design and animate the scenes effectively. The voiceover for the narration was produced using Eleven Labs, which gave the video a clear and natural tone. Finally, Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects were used for editing and post-production, enhancing the overall quality and smoothness of the presentation.

I presented it to the VIII C standard students in the third period. 

The students showed great interest and excitement when the AI-based animated video on “Little Things Matter” was presented. They were eager to watch the visuals and listen to the narration, which made the story of A.P.J. Abdul Kalam more engaging and easier to understand. The digital presentation captured their attention and helped them relate to the moral of the story in a meaningful way. Many students expressed that the video made learning enjoyable and different from the usual classroom routine.

During the interaction session that followed, the students participated by answering questions related to the story. They were able to recall the main ideas, such as the value of discipline, hard work, and the importance of small acts in life. Their responses reflected good comprehension and active involvement in the learning process.

The activity also helped to enhance the students’ language skills. Watching and listening to the AI-generated narration improved their pronunciation, vocabulary, and listening comprehension. The question-answer session encouraged them to speak confidently in English and express their thoughts clearly.
